November 13-17 is National Education Week and it is a time to be thankful for all those who work with students and families. I am especially proud to work for the staff of Pocahontas County Schools, a staff that holds children in their hearts and provides a service from the beginning of the day to the end and beyond.
To the 195 employees of Pocahontas County Schools, thank you for all that you do!
November has been filled with snow, rain, warm weather, and freezing temperatures. We all realize that winter is coming and with that, students will be wishing for snow days! We are providing this explanation of the steps that are involved in deciding a weather delay or early dismissal. It is not an easy task, but we strive to make the best decision with the information that we gather.
Thank you for your continued support of Pocahontas County Schools.
