PCHS Athletes: Reminder that Fall sports practice starts tomorrow, August 4th, from 10:00 am- 1:00 pm. Activity busses will leave from Durbin and Hillsboro at 9:00 am. Updated physicals are required to participate. See you there!
The parent football and cheer meeting will be Wednesday, August 6th, immediately following practice at 8pm at the field house. All parents are encouraged to attend for important information about the upcoming season. Reminder: Physicals dated on or after May 1, 2025, and emergency contact information are required to participate at practice.
Attention PCHS students! Cheer tryouts for the 2025-2026 school year will take place Monday, August 4th from 10am- 1pm. We will meet at the football field. You must have a WVSSAC approved sports physical dated on or after May 1, 2025, in order to tryout. Please wear appropriate sports attire and sneakers. See you there!

We explored our 5 senses, built string telephones, tallied data, and even turned snack time into math lessons. 🍧📊 A splash pad adventure taught us teamwork, courage, and that Ms. Tina is the bravest of all! 💦💙

We are aware of the power outage affecting our area. Schools are ensuring that students receive lunch, and dismissal will happen on a regular schedule.
Event Reminder: PCHS Athletic Awards Night is tomorrow, May 22nd, at 6:00 pm in the gymnasium. Refreshments will be provided. All PCHS families are welcome to join us in celebrating our 2024-2025 student athletes!
Track Meet Update (5/16 @ 1:03 pm)- Saturday, May 17th, the bus is scheduled to leave PCHS at 7:00 AM, traveling to Marlinton and then Hillsboro to pick up students along the way. Students driving or riding with their parents need to arrive at Woodrow Wilson High School no later than 10:00 AM. Field Events will start at 11:00 AM.
Due to thunderstorms in the Beckley area, the track meet today, Friday May 16th, has been rescheduled for tomorrow, May 17th. Field events begin at 1:30 pm and Runner events begin at 2:00 pm.
