Students will complete Day 1 of Snow Packets from home. They can use the 10 am to 12 pm virtual office hours to reach out to their teachers via email or Teams. Additionally, please note Math Field Day will be Tuesday, December 16th if schools are on a regular schedule.

Due to potentially hazardous weather conditions, Pocahontas County Schools will dismiss two hours early on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. All after-school activities and events are canceled. Individual schools will contact parents with updated dates and times for rescheduled events. Buses will depart from the high school at 1:21 p.m. Thank you for your understanding and support as we navigate winter weather conditions.

Pocahontas County High School’s senior class president has been selected as one of West Virginia’s delegates for the 2026 U.S. Senate Youth Program! Joey will receive a $10,000 scholarship and represent WV in Washington, D.C. during Washington Week in March, joining student leaders from across the nation.
